Dear Students, I am going to share an important update regarding the CM Punjab Laptop Scheme. Many students have been asking this question for the last 10 to 15 days about which children are eligible for the updates regarding biometric verification that are being received at this time, who will get the laptop within this phase and which universities have selected the students. So in today’s article, we will basically talk about how to complete the verification process.
Only three to four days have been given for the children who will complete their verification and meet the criteria, they will be given a laptop. In this regard, there are basically two phases in the laptop division. Some students will get a laptop within this phase, i.e. within one to one and a half months, some children will have to wait for two to three months, i.e. they will have to wait for phase two, then they will be given a laptop.

CM Laptop 1st Distribution Ceremony
If we talk about the first distribution ceremony, it will be in the Lahore division. We read that I will explain to you today. Due to the restriction of participation and first distribution ceremony in Lahore division, the Chief Minister of Punjab Higher Education Department will be chaired by the Chief Minister of Punjab. Only a selected number of participants are selected in the public participation. Students have been selected from all the colleges that are mentioned in the list below and the number of students has also been given. Only those who are in the first phase have been announced to be given laptops.

Free Biometric Verification
Regarding biometric verification, there are most chances that the e-salvo centers will be established within your universities, so what you have to do is that the college of your selected date will provide you that within this time and date, you have to go to your college and complete the verification process, so you should not miss it, but the time given for two to three days is clearly mentioned that you have time till 27th April, within this phase, you have to go and complete your verification and you will be selected, God willing.
Regarding biometric verification, the six to seven points mentioned above in the notification.
- I will share the details with you that the NADRA team will basically visit your respective college from 10 am to 5 pm from 24 to 26 April for verification.
- No fee will be charged from all the students who have to get verification done.
- All the students who have been selected are requested to complete their verification process as soon as possible.
- How will the verification be done and what proof will you have after that, which will be set in your college, NADRA will verify with your biometric thumb that you are studying in the same college.
- All students who have CNIC will be verified, but with regard to those without forms, it has been mentioned that a separate list of children who do not have forms will be made and that list will be submitted to the government separately.

CM Laptop Scheme Verification Process
In this article, we will basically discuss how to complete the verification process and how to secure yourself so that you are given a laptop within the first phase.
Verification will start from 24 April 2025.
- Only students with CNIC or Smart Card can do biometric verification.
- B-form is not allowed for verification.
- Your Intermediate marks must be 74.96% or more.
- Biometric will be done free of cost.
- Go to the E-Sahulat Center in your college/university campus.
- Do your thumb/fingerprint verification before 27 April 2025.
- Without verification, you will not get them.
Laptop Distribution Select University Name List
Now the question is how will you know whether you will get a laptop in phase one or you are going to layer in phase two, so see point number one, it is clearly written that
- All the students who are selected in MBBS and BDS for the laptop scheme will get a laptop in phase one.
- Talking about number two, it has been written regarding DVM that all such students whose admission has been done in DVM and their marks are 75 percent or more in intermediate, then in the meeting held on 20th April 2022, it has been decided that they will be provided with laptops in the first phase.
- If we talk about merit, if it is 74.96 percent, then all such students whose marks are 74.96 percent and they have also been verified by their college will be provided laptops by the focal person.
But this is also clearly mentioned. So all such students whose marks are less than 74.96 percent and like between 65 percent and 74.96 percent, then all such students who have them will be provided laptops in the second phase. But it is clearly mentioned that all such students whose marks are less than 65 percent and their college focal person has verified them incorrectly or has verified them with a mistake, then they will be automatically rejected.
Final Thought
Hopefully you must have understood all these things. If your name is mentioned above in all these universities, I have discussed one by one, then you are selected in phase one, but if your marks are from 65 to 75 percent, then you will come in phase two, but if your marks are more than 75 percent, then Insha Allah, you will get the laptop in one to one and a half months in any phase.
