Mamta Program In Sindh For Child Financial Assistance
The Sindh government’s launch of the Mamata program is a big step because there is a lot of poverty in rural areas due to which people cannot take care of their health. The Sindh Social Protection Authority (SSPA), an agency under the Sindh government, organized monitoring at PPHI Perumal and Mohib Junejo hospitals in Sanghar district under the Maternal and Child Shelter Program (Mamata program).
Addressing the awareness session, District Coordinator of Mamata Program Kulsoom Joyo said that maximum pregnant women in the area should register so that the mental and physical health of the mother and child can be improved to the maximum. The Mamata program will be launched in 15 districts of Sindh, while registration of pregnant women has been started in 71 PPHI hospitals in Sanghar district. Eligible women joining the Mamata program will be paid a total of Rs 30,000 through their registered mobile numbers after 16 medical check-ups.

Who is Eligible for Women In Mamta Programme
- Must be a permanent resident of Pakistan.
- Must be a pregnant woman or a lactating mother.
- CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) must be valid and verified.
- Must belong to a low-income or deserving family.
- Should be registered with the local health center or Lady Health Worker (LHW).
- Should not be receiving similar aid from other government programs.
- Priority is given to women in rural and underprivileged areas.
- Must provide medical documents like antenatal cards or childbirth .

Registration Process for Mamta Program In Sindh
To register in the Mamta program you have to first check your eligibility, after that, you have to visit your nearest center.
- Go to your nearest Basic Health Unit (BHU), Rural Health Center (RHC), or Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) where the Mamta Program is active.
- Your documents include your identity card and Husband’s CNIC copy,Child’s B-form (if applicable),Proof of pregnancy (Doctor’s slip or ultrasound report)
- Ask for the Mamta Program Registration Form.Fill it with correct details: Your name,Husband name, Address, CNIC number, Number of children, Pregnancy details
- Submit your form and documents to the Mamta program lady health worker or the center’s registration desk.
- Once verified, you will get a Registration Slip or SMS confirmation.
- After registration, attend regular checkups at the health center to continue receiving Mamta Program benefits.
