- 2-year Master’s degree programs.
- Institutions Covered: Eligible students from medical and dental colleges, engineering universities, agriculture universities, veterinary and animal sciences universities, and technology colleges are included.
- Special Categories:
- Top 100 students from each of the nine provincial boards, technical boards, and the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.
- 400 top students each from Matric and Intermediate exams from other provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
- New MS/M.Phil./Ph.D. scholars in public sector institutions who meet the academic performance criteria and have not received a laptop in previous schemes.
- Top ten students in each department of public sector federal universities in Islamabad and their regional campuses in Punjab.
- 4,000 laptops allocated for students of “Deeni Madaris” through the Auqaf Department, subject to merit criteria approved by the Chief Minister.
- Exclusions:
- Recipients of Higher Education Commission scholarships.
- Employed students (both public and private sectors).
- Students who have previously received a laptop under last year’s scheme.
- Foreign nationals, except students from Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Indian Occupied Kashmir.

Registration Process for the Laptop Scheme
The registration process for the CM Laptop Scheme 2025 is streamlined to ensure transparency and ease of access:
- Application Submission: Eligible students are required to apply through their respective educational institutions. The institutions will compile and submit the lists of eligible candidates to the Higher Education Department (HED) of Punjab.
